GENERAL MACHINE PRODUCTS 79750 SUPPORT SHEAVE B NEW B Sheave Support
This device is to be used with Cable Guards, Cable Spacers, Lashed Cable Supports and a Reinforcing Strap to attach strand and lashed cable to a pole using the suspension bolt where either the upward or downward grade change exceeds 20%. The B Sheave Support, along with the appropriate hardware, prevents bending of the cable suspension bolt where grade changes exceed 20%. It is reccomended for use where grade changes are between 20-50% on messenger sizes of 6M or 6.6M or where grade changes are between 20-30% on 10M messenger. It can also be used at small corners where up to 20 ft of pull is present and there's no more than a 50% grade change. For upward grade changes the sheave should be mounted in an inverted position. The strand always bears against the sheave and is is held captive. the lashed cable should always pass outside the sheave.
