Jameson 12-165 Sonde & Adapter Kit
The Locating Sonde and Adapter Kit works with a duct rodder to trace underground pipes and conduit. The kit includes an adapter (#9-169) and a sonde (#14-169). The flexible adapter is used to attach the sonde to the end of the rod. The sonde emits a radio signal so you can determine the position and depth of the tip of the duct rod with a hand-held receiver as it snakes through the line. Applications include locating deep industrial and municipal storm and sanitary sewer lines. The locating sonde operates at 512 Hz and features 1/4"-20 female thread. It will trace depths up to 12' (plastic pipe) or 6' (cast iron pipe). The 1.5V "N" cell battery (included) provides 4-6 hours of continuous operation. 2.25" X .75"
