P/N 01228 Toggle Coaxial Stripper Cable Type 8281 Weight 2 oz. (56 g)
Toggle strippers provide one, two and three level stripping in just seconds with one simple-to-use device. Just pull the stripper into the open position with one hand and insert the cable up to position using the strip length gauge. Now let the tool snap to close on the cable and rotate the stripper overhand 6 turns around the cable with one finger until cutting stops. This rotary action causes Toggle’s hardened steel blade to sever the outer layers, exposing the center conductor. Now reposition the cable for a second level strip and rotate the stripper underhand 6 turns. Simply pull the toggle off the cable to expose the braided conductor. Toggle self adjusts for each successive level stripping: outer insulation, braid and dielectric. There is a Toggle Stripper to suit most common coaxial cable types.
